Although the urge may be there to take on new projects and tackle major jobs around the home. There are plenty of small things that can be done to make a difference in how your home feels, and the energy flows. Here’s some things you can do to get you started.
Main Entrance
The main entrance represents how energy and opportunity flow to us. It is also the first thing we or our guests see when we arrive at our home, so make sure it is welcoming!
Clean that front door! In order to make sure the entrance to our home is inviting to both people and energy we need to ensure it is clean, so make sure to give the door, handle, hinges and knocker a good clean.
Keep the area around the front step clear of dirt. Sweep outwards with intention and imagine that you are sweeping away stagnant energy. Making room for that vibrant, fresh energy to enter.
Add flowers to your entry hall, fresh flowers are great for uplifting the energy in your home. But make sure to keep the water fresh and remove and replace the flowers as soon as they wilt.
Kitchen
The kitchen is a representation of your resources as well as how you nourish yourself. So how can we make the most of this important room
Did you know that the stove represents your wealth and resources! So be sure to clean it with intention and keep it clean.
If you are like most people there will be those mystery items that hide at the back of the cupboard or refrigerator. Use this spring clean as the opportunity to remove the things you won’t use along with anything that is past it’s best. Giving everything a wipe down as you go.
Get into those corners and sweep away any stagnant energy, along with those crumbs that seem to collect in the corners of the room. Make sure to get into all those small areas.
Your Bathroom
Is the place where we spend time taking care of ourselves. So let’s show it some love too.
Take care of any leaks and dripping taps, this may seem mundane. But it is important to make sure that these things are in good repair. Because water leaks equal money leaks . . . so get then fixed! Make sure to keep that toilet seat down, or you are literally flushing good energy down the drain.
Place a plant above the toilet to counteract the downard drawing energy of the flush. Plants of course also clean the air.
Bedroom
Your bedroom represents you and we spend a lot of time there resting and sleeping. So it is important to make this space as supportive as possible.
Fresh or new sheets are a good place to start. Did you know that green or yellow bedding is particularly good for extra support or healing.
Take a look under your bed. Ideally we should not use this space for storage. If your space is limited and you need to store items here make sure it is soft items, such as extra bedding. Clear out anything that has accumulated and rearrange your storage if needed. Clean and hoover under the bed. Keeping the space clean and dust free.
